The Fish Thumbprint Cup

$52.00

A quietly sculptural coffee tumbler designed to be held slowly.
This wheel-thrown cup features a gentle thumb rest pressed into the clay while soft, allowing your hand to naturally settle into place.

Hand-thrown in stoneware and finished in a warm ivory glaze, this mug features a cobalt fish that feels both timeless and understated.

Each tumbler is made by hand in small batches, giving every piece subtle variations in surface, glaze movement, and form. One glaze variation includes an iron-rich glaze that flows organically over a warm stone base, creating a landscape-like pattern unique to each cup.

Perfect for coffee, matcha, tea, or a small evening drink.

Shaped on the wheel

from clay to kiln

From raw clay to its finished form, each piece passes through multiple stages of throwing, trimming, glazing and firing, resulting in subtle variations that make it one of a kind.

Every Piece Shaped by Careful Hands

At YV Ceramics, each cup, bowl, and spoon rest begins as a lump of clay gently coaxed into shape by skilled hands. We work in small batches to ensure every item carries its own story.

No two pieces are exactly alike. This slow, attentive process invites you to appreciate the subtle textures and warm imperfections that make our ceramics feel like a quiet hug in your home.
