The Dipping Bowl
A bowl made to be filled, passed around and shared.
This dipping bowl is a handmade serving bowl designed with a recessed center - perfect for holding olive oil and balsamic vinegar, dipping sauces, herbs, or anything else meant to be shared around a loaf of warm, crusty bread.
A gently formed pour spout was added to use for whisking together sauces, dressings, marinades.
Finished in Hearth, a deep charcoal-brown glaze with warm, earthy variations, and subtle movement across the surface or Slate, a slate blue-brown glaze with story variations.
As with all handmade pottery, slight variations in shape, glaze, and finish make each piece one of a kind.

From raw clay to its finished form, each piece passes through multiple stages of throwing, trimming, glazing and firing, resulting in subtle variations that make it one of a kind.
Every Piece Shaped by Careful Hands
At YV Ceramics, each cup, bowl, and spoon rest begins as a lump of clay gently coaxed into shape by skilled hands. We work in small batches to ensure every item carries its own story.
No two pieces are exactly alike. This slow, attentive process invites you to appreciate the subtle textures and warm imperfections that make our ceramics feel like a quiet hug in your home.
